Important β please read before booking
This document is a public offer addressed to any person who books a service through tourfixer.uz. Submitting a booking request and paying for a service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance (acceptance of the offer) of the terms set out below, and forms a binding agreement between you and TourFixer.
By making a booking with TourFixer you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. Key points: deposits are strictly non-refundable; cancellations within 24 hours of service incur the full booking amount; TourFixer acts as an intermediary only and is not liable for accidents or supplier conduct.

1. Definitions
"TourFixer," "we," "us," or "our" refers to TourFixer, a travel services intermediary operating at tourfixer.uz. "Service" means the online platform through which customers ("you," "the traveller") can request and confirm private car transfers, guided tours, and day trips in Uzbekistan. "Supplier" means the independent third-party driver, transport company, or tour guide who fulfils the service. "Booking" means a confirmed reservation created after a deposit payment has been received.
2. Nature of Service β We Are an Intermediary
TourFixer acts solely as a booking platform and intermediary. We connect travellers with independent local transport suppliers and guides. We are not a transport operator, carrier, or tour operator in the legal sense. The actual service β driving, guiding, or hosting β is provided by independent third-party suppliers over whom TourFixer has no direct employment or legal control beyond the terms of our supplier agreements.
By making a booking with TourFixer, you acknowledge that the transport or guide service itself is provided by a third-party supplier, and that TourFixer's role is limited to facilitating the booking, collecting the deposit, and coordinating logistics.
3. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after: (a) you have submitted a booking request via our website or WhatsApp; (b) TourFixer has sent a written confirmation (via WhatsApp, email, or our platform); and (c) the required deposit has been received.
Until all three conditions are met, no binding contract exists between you and TourFixer. Verbal or informal confirmations do not constitute a confirmed booking. TourFixer reserves the right to decline any booking request for any reason, including supplier unavailability.
4. Service Delivery β How and When Your Service Is Provided
TourFixer sells services, not physical goods. Nothing is shipped or posted to you. The service you book is performed in person in Uzbekistan, on the date and at the time recorded in your confirmed booking.
What you receive: the vehicle category and driver, or the guide, that you booked, for the route and duration agreed at the time of booking. The quoted service includes the vehicle, fuel, and the driver or guide for that agreed route and duration. It does not include entrance fees, accommodation, meals, or gratuities unless explicitly stated in writing.
How your booking reaches you:
β’ Immediately after you submit a booking request, we send an acknowledgement to the email address you provided, containing your booking reference.
β’ We contact you on WhatsApp within 1 working hour to confirm availability and the remaining details. Our working hours are every day, 08:00β20:00 Tashkent time (UTC+5). Requests received outside those hours are answered the following morning.
β’ Once your deposit has been received, we confirm the booking in writing, normally within 2 hours.
β’ Before the day of service we send you the name and contact number of your driver or guide, together with the agreed pickup point and time.
How the service is performed: your driver or guide meets you at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time. They will have your name, contact number, pickup location, and booking reference. Any outstanding balance is paid directly to the driver or guide at that point, in cash (USD), unless an alternative arrangement has been confirmed in writing by TourFixer.
During the service you can reach TourFixer at any time. On the day of travel we monitor WhatsApp continuously and your driver has our number.
The service is considered delivered once the booked transfer, tour, or guiding service has been performed as described in your written confirmation. If any part of the service is not performed as confirmed, you must notify TourFixer in writing within 24 hours of the incident so that we can investigate β see "Supplier Conduct & Service Quality" below.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices quoted are in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, unless explicitly stated. Quoted prices include the vehicle, fuel, and driver or guide service for the agreed route and duration. Prices do not include entrance fees, accommodation, meals, or gratuities unless explicitly stated in writing.
Payment is collected as follows: a non-refundable deposit (amount specified at booking) is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance, if any, is due directly to the driver or guide on the day of service, in cash (USD) unless an alternative arrangement is confirmed in writing by TourFixer.
6. Card Payment Security
Card payments on this website are processed through the OCTO payment gateway of Octobank, our acquiring bank. Card details are entered on Octobank's secure payment page. TourFixer does not receive, process, or store your card number, expiry date, or CVV/CVC code at any point β those details are held only by the bank and the international payment systems.
The measures protecting card transactions made through this website are:
β’ Every page of tourfixer.uz is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection secured by a valid SSL certificate. Card data is transmitted in encrypted form only.
β’ Card payments are handled on the payment page of Octobank, which operates in accordance with the security requirements of the international payment systems, including the PCI DSS standard.
β’ Card transactions are authenticated using 3-D Secure technology β Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, and the equivalent confirmation programmes of Humo and Uzcard. You confirm each payment with a one-time code sent to you by your issuing bank.
β’ TourFixer stores no card data of any kind. Our booking records hold only your name, contact details, and the details of the service you booked. Payment data is processed by OCTO and is never stored on our servers.
β’ Access to booking records is restricted to authorised TourFixer staff through an authenticated, rate-limited administrative interface, and our database enforces row-level security.
How to keep your payment safe:
β’ Never disclose your card's CVV/CVC code or a one-time confirmation code to anyone, including anyone claiming to represent TourFixer. We will never ask you for your full card number, CVV/CVC code, or a one-time code by WhatsApp, email, or telephone.
β’ Before entering any payment details, check that your browser's address bar shows https:// and the tourfixer.uz domain.
β’ If you believe your card details have been compromised, or you see a transaction from TourFixer that you did not authorise, contact your issuing bank immediately and notify us at [email protected].
7. Deposit Policy β Non-Refundable
The deposit is non-refundable. It represents the cost of reserving and securing the supplier for your specific date and time: once it is paid, the supplier is committed to your booking and may turn away other clients.
The deposit is therefore not returned when you cancel, whatever your reason β including change of travel plans, visa denial, flight cancellation, illness, family emergency, or any other event outside your control.
The one exception is failure on our side. If TourFixer does not provide the service you booked β we cannot supply the driver or guide, or we cancel your confirmed booking β your deposit is refunded in full, together with any other amount you have paid. See "Refunds & Returning Funds to Your Card" below for how that refund is made.
If you have travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, you may be able to claim your deposit back from your insurer. TourFixer strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before making any booking.
8. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a confirmed booking free of charge more than 48 hours before the scheduled start of your service. "Free of charge" means that no cancellation fee is applied and any amount you have paid above the deposit is returned to you. The deposit itself is retained whenever you are the one cancelling β see the Deposit Policy above, which also sets out the one situation in which the deposit is returned.
Cancellation rules apply from the moment a booking is confirmed and a deposit has been received. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp or email to TourFixer and acknowledged by TourFixer in writing.
β’ More than 48 hours before the scheduled service: Free cancellation. The deposit is retained; no cancellation fee is charged, and anything paid above the deposit is refunded.
β’ Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled service: The deposit is retained. An additional cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total booking value (excluding the deposit) will be charged or invoiced.
β’ Less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, or no-show: The full total booking value is due, regardless of whether the service was used. This represents the supplier's committed time, fuel, and opportunity cost. TourFixer will invoice the full amount and reserves the right to pursue recovery through available legal means.
β’ No-show: A traveller who does not appear at the agreed pickup location within 30 minutes of the scheduled pickup time without prior written notice to TourFixer is considered a no-show. Full payment is due.
Time of cancellation is determined by the timestamp of the written notification received by TourFixer.
9. Refunds & Returning Funds to Your Card
This section explains when money is returned to you and how it reaches you.
When a refund is due:
β’ You cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled service and have paid any amount above the deposit β that amount above the deposit is refunded.
β’ TourFixer does not provide the service you booked, or cancels your confirmed booking β everything you have paid, including the deposit, is refunded in full.
β’ You were charged in error, or charged twice for the same booking β the incorrect amount is refunded in full.
The deposit itself is not refunded when you are the one cancelling, and no refund is due for a cancellation made less than 48 hours before the service, or for a no-show, beyond anything stated in the Cancellation Policy above.
How the refund is made:
β’ Refunds of card payments are always returned to the same bank card that was used to make the payment, through the OCTO payment gateway of Octobank. We cannot refund a card payment to a different card, to a different person, in cash, or by bank transfer.
β’ The refund is made in the currency of the original transaction. The amount credited in your local currency may differ slightly from the amount charged because of exchange-rate movement between the two dates β that difference is set by your issuing bank and is outside TourFixer's control.
β’ Approved refunds are returned to your card within 10 banking days of the refund being approved. The exact moment the funds appear on your statement is determined by your issuing bank.
How to request a refund:
Send a written request to [email protected] or to our WhatsApp number, quoting your booking reference and the reason for the request. We acknowledge every refund request within 3 business days and tell you in writing whether it is approved, and if not, why.
If part of a service was delivered and part was not, we will assess the request individually and may refund a proportionate amount.
10. Changes & Modifications
Requests to modify a confirmed booking (change of date, time, route, or vehicle type) must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled service. TourFixer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee them. If a modification cannot be accommodated, the original booking terms remain in effect.
Date changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled service are treated as cancellations and the cancellation policy applies.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TourFixer, its employees, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for:
β’ Death, personal injury, or illness arising from any transport or tour service. β’ Loss, theft, or damage to personal property, baggage, or equipment. β’ Delays, missed connections, or missed flights caused by road conditions, traffic, weather, mechanical failure, or any other cause. β’ Acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers, drivers, or guides. β’ Emotional distress, loss of enjoyment, or loss of holiday time. β’ Any indirect, consequential, or special damages of any kind.
In all cases, TourFixer's maximum aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from a confirmed booking shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to TourFixer for that specific booking. This limitation applies regardless of the legal basis of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise).
TourFixer does not operate vehicles and is not a licensed carrier. All transport services are operated by independent third-party suppliers. Vehicle roadworthiness, driver licensing, and insurance are the responsibility of the supplier. Travellers are strongly advised to verify that they are comfortable with the vehicle and driver before beginning any journey.
12. Supplier Conduct & Service Quality
TourFixer makes reasonable efforts to work with reliable, professional suppliers. s.
If you experience a problem with a supplier during your service, you must notify TourFixer in writing within 24 hours of the incident to be eligible for any consideration of a complaint. Failure to report within this window may limit TourFixer's ability to investigate or respond.
Complaints are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. TourFixer may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial credit toward a future booking as a goodwill gesture, but is under no legal obligation to do so.
13. Force Majeure
TourFixer is not liable for any failure or delay in performing services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, severe weather; epidemic or pandemic; war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government-imposed travel restrictions; road closures, border closures, or curfews; strikes, fuel shortages, or power outages.
In the event of a genuine force majeure that makes a confirmed booking impossible to fulfil, TourFixer may, at its sole discretion, offer a booking credit or reschedule. No automatic cash refund is guaranteed.
14. Travel Documents & Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, visas, and permits required to enter and travel within Uzbekistan. TourFixer has no responsibility for denied entry, deportation, or any consequences arising from invalid or missing documents.
You are responsible for arriving at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time. TourFixer and the supplier are not liable for any costs or losses arising from your late arrival or failure to be at the pickup point.
15. Health, Safety & Personal Risk
Travel in Central Asia sometimes involves unpredictable road conditions, extreme weather, altitude, and remote locations. By booking with TourFixer, you accept these risks as part of travelling in Uzbekistan.
TourFixer strongly recommends that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and personal liability before travelling. TourFixer does not sell or arrange travel insurance.
Special requirements (medical conditions, mobility needs, dietary restrictions, child seats) must be communicated in writing at the time of booking. TourFixer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee them.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any dispute arising from a booking made through TourFixer that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact TourFixer in writing and allow a minimum of 14 calendar days for TourFixer to attempt to resolve the matter informally.
17. Changes to These Terms
TourFixer reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version published at tourfixer.uz/terms at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. Continued use of TourFixer's platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
